GSY Fuel Prices lists petrol and diesel prices at every forecourt in Guernsey, so you can compare them and see who is cheapest before you fill up. It is free to use and independent, with no connection to any fuel supplier or retailer.
The site is run by the same person behind the Guernsey Fuel and Oil Watch Facebook page. Prices are checked by hand each week and published here. Heating oil and marine fuel rates are listed as well, for anyone who needs them.

How are prices collected?
Prices are verified manually. Guernsey has a relatively small number of forecourts, which makes it practical to check each one regularly.
Two main supplier groups operate on the island:
CIFL — tends to update prices on Mondays and Tuesdays
Rubis — tends to update prices on Fridays
ATF, GPD and independents — update at varying intervals
The date shown next to each forecourt is the date the price was last confirmed. Prices between update cycles are typically stable, but always check the board at the pump before filling up.
Guernsey fuel duty explained
Guernsey sets its own fuel duty independently from the UK. This means pump prices in Guernsey do not move in step with mainland price changes, even when the underlying oil price shifts.

Guernsey's road fuel duty is higher than the UK rate, which partly explains why pump prices here can appear elevated compared to the mainland even when the oil price is similar.
Frequently asked questions
Why do prices differ between forecourts?
Each forecourt sets its own margin on top of the wholesale price and duty. Supplier group also plays a role. Rubis and CIFL tend to move in sync within their networks, but independents like ATF and GPD price separately.
What is Super Unleaded and do I need it?
Super Unleaded is a higher-octane petrol, either RON 97 or RON 99. Most modern cars run perfectly well on standard unleaded (RON 95). Super is mainly for high-performance or older engines that specify a higher octane. Seven forecourts in Guernsey stock it. Note that Excellium (95 RON) is not Super Unleaded despite the premium branding.
What is E10 and B7 fuel?
E10 is petrol blended with up to 10% ethanol. B7 is diesel blended with up to 7% biodiesel. ATF stations sell these bio-blends. They are not suitable for all older or high-performance vehicles, so check your handbook before using them.
What is DF Diesel?
DF Diesel stands for dyed fuel diesel. It is a duty-free grade of diesel for off-road and marine use only. It is illegal to use in road vehicles. It is available at some Guernsey forecourts and marine outlets.
How often does the site update?
Prices are typically reviewed weekly, in line with the CIFL Monday/Tuesday and Rubis Friday update cycles. The date shown next to each station shows when that price was last confirmed.
How do I report a wrong price?
Use the Report a Price button on the main page. You can submit a photo of the forecourt price board and add a short note. Reports are reviewed and the listing updated as soon as possible.
Is this site affiliated with any fuel company?
No. GSY Fuel Prices is fully independent. It has no commercial relationship with CIFL, Rubis, ATF, GPD or any other supplier.
